Eco Africa Network Observes World Water Day 2026

To mark World Water Day 2026, Eco-Africa Network partnered with Bel-Aqua to film across the Achiaman-Amasaman Municipality, spotlighting this year’s theme: “Water and Gender.”

Through vivid, heartfelt storytelling, the initiative shed light on how water access shapes the everyday lives of girls in these communities.

This year’s theme serves as a reminder that access to water goes beyond basic necessity—it directly impacts the well-being of the girl child.

When water is accessible, it saves her time, preserves her energy, and protects her childhood, allowing her to pursue education and personal growth.

Let us all remember that access to clean water is not only an environmental concern but also a gender issue.

For where water flows, equality grows.
